- Eucalyptus essential oil is an oil that is versatile in its ability to blend well with many others such as those derived from herbs, flowers, citrus, woods and other leaf oils. When you think of Eucalyptus, however, it is associated with respiratory infections, deeper breathing and purifying the air. To enhance its breathe easy effects you can blend it with a number of essential oils including Fir, Spruce, Cypress and Pine family oils as well as herbal oils such as Rosemary and Juniper. To soften its edges topically, look to floral oils such as Lavender and Chamomile. To give it a more upbeat and uplifting energy, try it with citrus oils such as Orange and Lemon.
- Purifying Eucalyptus has a number of strengths for body care but when used as a diffuser blend, it can improve mental clarity, clear out brain fog and increase energy, especially after nights where sleep was elusive but you still need to be present mentally. It has respiratory benefits to help deepen breathing and clear out chest and sinus congestion. This refreshing oil has a dual action that is both energizing and calming, helping to reduce stress and promote emotional balance to improve mindset. We do recommend that the use of Eucalyptus oil and any other oils that contain 1,8 cineole be avoided around children under age 10 as it may have adverse effects on them.

- Yes, you can absolutely use Purifying Eucalyptus topically on the skin. The most important thing to remember when blending essential oils into a carrier or unscented cream is to dilute properly to avoid skin irritation. Be sure to add no more than 3% essential oils to 1 oz of carrier which translates to 15-18 drops per ounce of carrier.
