Frequently Asked Questions
How to use Grapeseed oil for hair?
  • Grapeseed oil is a natural emollient and has a non-comedogenic rating of 1. This means as a lightweight carrier oil, it will not clog pores or leave your skin or hair oily. To use it in your hair, put a small amount onto your fingertips and lightly brush your fingers onto dry hair and brush hair using a wooden comb. Let it absorb into the hair for 15-30 minutes and thoroughly wash out the hair with shampoo 1-2 times.
Is Grapeseed oil good for your skin?
  • Grapeseed oil is a vegetable oil packed with inflammation reducing essential fatty acid compounds such as linoleic acid as well as vitamin E that promote skin health. Both benefits help to restore elasticity and softness with those whose skin is parched and dull. Grapeseed oil is beneficial when used to hydrate and even out skin tones as well as reduce fine lines and wrinkles and protect against free radical damage with its powerful antioxidant properties. Cold pressed Grapeseed oil also benefits sexual health and makes an exceptional choice as a natural lubricant.
What is Grapeseed oil?
  • Grapeseed oil is made from the grape seeds leftover from the process of winemaking. As a byproduct of winemaking, grape seeds are left behind and the oil is cold pressed to extract the oil from the dried grape seeds and retain its abundant nutrients. Grapeseed oil that has been extracted by heating methods and with chemicals does not protect the nutrients. Be sure to purchase cold-pressed Grapeseed oil overheated for all your needs.
Does Grapeseed oil go bad?
  • Grapeseed oil will go rancid after a period of time. Stored in a cool dark place, Grapeseed oil will last about 2 years in an unopened container and once opened has about a 6-month shelf life. When expired, Grapeseed oil will give off a sour, rancid odor. To dispose of expired Grapeseed oil, seal it in its container and place in the trash or you can consider composting the oil.
Is Grapeseed oil anti-inflammatory?
  • According to studies, Grapeseed oil has beneficial properties for health that are mainly detected by in vitro studies, such as anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, antimicrobial, and anticancer properties, and may interact with cellular and molecular pathways. Grapeseed oil provides a high amount of fatty acids, polyunsaturated fats and vitamin E which all can contribute to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant strength and therefore is beneficial for topical skin applications.

So Light and Nice

I just received mine today to replace a bottle of Almond oil that I've had for years because I find it way too heavy and sticky. First pump out of the bottle I was "amazed" at how light this is. I instantly just put some under my eyes and that big old wrinkle between my eyes on my forehead and it just was so silky and absorbed so well. Wow !, it feels really nice. I can't wait to use this on my skin and especially with my oils on my achy spots.

Great for face!

I use this oil with a couple of drops of Frankincense and Myrrh and it gives my skin a healthy glow . I also feel like my age pots are fading. I have combination skin and it sinks in pretty fast with out being to oily.

I am so pleased with the Grapeseed carrier oil! It is hydrating and doesn't make my skin feel oily. I like using it in my rollers because of its light odor. I will definitely order again!
