Frequently Asked Questions
Which essential oil is good for headaches?
  • Head Ease is comprised of some of the best essential oils that promote the feeling of headache relief, including Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, Frankincense, Basil, Chamomile, Ginger, Spearmint and Helichrysum.
How do you use Head Ease for headaches?
  • The most effective ways to use Head Ease essential oil blend for headache relief are 1.) Diffuse 30 minutes intermittently using an essential oil diffuser. 2.) Dilute and apply topically to the neck and temples. 3.) In a bowl, mix 10 drops of the oil blend to 2 tbsp of carrier oil and 2 cups of Epsom salts, then add the mixture to a tension and stress relieving bath. 4.) Alternatively, try prediluted Head Ease roll-on.
Where do I rub Head Ease essential oil for headaches?
  • Once you’ve diluted Head Ease for topical use, you may be wondering where to apply it. Headaches are often best complemented by essential oils when inhaled. Therefore, we recommend applying Head Ease where you can easily smell it, such as the pulse points near or around your face. These areas include the neck and temples. Another effective option is to have a partner or Massage Therapist massage Head Ease onto your neck.
Do essential oils help with headaches?
  • Studies on aromatherapy have shown that essential oils can complement traditional methods of stopping and preventing headaches and pain. For example, Lavender essential oil offers a high percentage of esters (linalyl acetate) and anti-inflammatory properties. Furthermore, Peppermint essential oil contains a significant amount of menthol, which is known to help relax and ease tension headaches. Head Ease contains both of these oils along with other headache essential oil remedies which can stop tension. If you’re still unsure if Head Ease is right for you, we offer a 30-day return policy so you can try it risk-free.
Is Head Ease oil safe for skin?
  • Head Ease is safe to use on the skin when properly diluted. Because essential oils are so powerful, only a little is needed to be effective. Plus, diluting your essential oils helps extend the length of time you use them. We suggest a 3% dilution or 18 drops of Head Ease combined with 2 tbsp of carrier oil such as Fractionated Coconut oil. Alternatively, try prediluted Head Ease roll-on.
How to Use

Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Synergy Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil. See our dilution chart here. We recommend performing a skin patch test when using a new essential oil topically.

Love Head Ease!

The Head Ease smells so good and is great for a headache. A little sniff and a few dabs on the temple area really works! I don’t like using over the counter products. Can’t be without my Head Ease!

Love this blend

If I have a mild headache I use this and maybe add extra peppermint and it really helps and if it’s a bad head or neck ache this helps take the edge off until the ibuprofen kicked in

Goes with me everywhere!

I frequently suffer from headaches from sinuses to migraines. I have the roll-on version and keep it in my purse and have another one that stays at home. I rub a little on my temples and it helps. I am forever offering it to others, especially my kids and husband when they tell me their head hurts. It works wonderfully!
