- For young children under the age of 2 we do not recommend using essential oils at all. Between the ages of 2-5, consider using very gentle oils that will not irritate their skin or be too strong for their senses such as Frankincense, Lavender and Chamomile- Roman. Because children are a lot smaller than adults, they metabolize oils and they can become easily overwhelmed. We always recommend using the very low dilution of 1% for topical application with 2-5 year oils. For kids over the age of 5, try adding in oils such as Pine oils, Sandalwood, Geranium- Egyptian, etc. Peppermint and Eucalyptus can be too overwhelming for children under the age of 10 especially if they have issues with asthma.
- Whether you or your children suffer from dry skin, sunburns, hives, or chafed knees, this skin nourishing essential oil blend is effective at relieving and soothing these issues. Made with skin soothing oils and packed with the antioxidant power of Lavender, Evening Primrose CO2, Sandalwood and Chamomile- Roman, by adding hydration, this blend will aid a variety of your skincare needs from your young ones to the adults in the family.
- Depending on whether your eczema is due to allergies to topical or inhaled irritants that cause eczema reactions or just due to sensitive skin that has no allergic associations, we highly recommend performing a skin patch test on the inner arm when using a new essential oil topically before using it on the entire face. If there is no reaction in the form of redness or hives or itchy skin, you are free to use it topically, but try it in very low dilutions, 1% or 5-6 drops max blended with an unscented cream or carrier oil. Check out our dilution guide to understand how much essential oil to use in a blend.
- You can surely diffuse Pampered Skin essential oil just as you do with any other essential oil blends. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for your diffuser. Don't have one? No problem, check out Edens Garden diffusers here. However, if you are looking to aid sensitive skin or sensitive skin issues, we highly recommend using this blend topically at low dilutions and blended with a carrier oil or unscented cream. Always do a skin patch test when using new oils to rule out any potential skin irritation.
- From reducing fine lines and exfoliating dead skin cells, our adult skin care needs can be endless and numerous. So why not take advantage of a skin sensitive formula that eases irritations and works great to soothe not only your kids skin but for the adults in the family as well. Try blending it into liquid castille soap for a gentle skin cleanser. Mix ½ oz liquid castille soap, ½ ounce witch hazel or water and 10-15 drops of Pampered Skin to open up and cleanse even the toughest of pores. And then follow it with a DIY Cream. Using 1 ounce of unscented skin cream, blend 10-15 drops of Pampered skin to it and massage it gently onto the face.
Apply Topically: Our Single Essential Oils and Blends are 100% pure and undiluted. To apply to the skin, dilute with a high-quality Carrier Oil. See our dilution chart here. We recommend performing a skin patch test when using a new essential oil topically.
Diffuse & Inhale: Breathe in your favorite essential oils using an essential oil diffuser or personal pocket inhaler. For instructions on how to use your diffuser, please refer to the diffuser’s product page.
