- Sleepy Head roll-on works most effectively when inhaled about 15-20 minutes before bed. To accomplish this, apply the roll-on in these ways: 1.) Apply it to pulse points such as on the neck, behind the ears, temples and wrists. 2.) Apply a dab of the roll-on oil under the nose to breathe in calming and grounding properties. 3.) Roll the oil onto the palms of the hands, cups the hands over the nose and breathe in deeply 4-5 times. 4.) Massage the oil onto the back of the neck and the shoulders. Repeat any of these steps as needed if you find yourself awake at night. If your kids have sensitive skin, perform a skin patch test prior to extensive topical use to rule out skin irritation.

- Like most people you love, you may be prone to give babies the very best of everything — essential oils like Sleepy Head included. But because babies are not quite able to metabolize substances as well as adults and even older children, it’s best to err on the side of extreme caution when it comes to essential oils. For this reason, we recommend avoiding using essential oils around or topically on babies. Babies have a heightened sense of smell and essential oils can overload their developing systems. Lavender hydrosol make a safer gentler option as a room spray. If you do decide to use oils around babies, it is best to turn off a diffuser at least 15 minutes before you bring them into a room. However, please keep a close eye on their behavior and discontinue use of essential oils if you observe irritation and discomfort in your baby.
