This blend contains Bergamot essential oil – a popular citrus essential oil. Similar to Ylang Ylang essential oil and Lavender essential oil, Bergamot oil aids sleep, stress and mood when inhaled. 

Another popular citrus oil, Neroli, is also found in This Smells Amazing. Like Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage and Lavender oil, Neroli also promotes better sleep and anxiety relief. 

To further bolster these benefits, we added some of the best essential oils in aromatherapy that enhance sleep and relief from stress, like Ylang Ylang essential oil, Coconut CO2, Cedarwood, Mandarin and more citrus essential oils. 

How To Use This Smells Amazing

Here’s how to use This Smells Amazing like an expert. 

Diffusion: Diffusing essential oils is perhaps the easiest way to use your blend, but it’s also our favorite way to enjoy This Smells Amazing. Add 10 drops of your blend per 100 ml of water in an essential oil diffuser like the Terrazzo or Diamond.

Skin Care: With several skin nourishing oils like Cedarwood, Neroli and Coconut CO2, This Smells Amazing can be used as a blemish corrector. Simply apply the roll-on to a blemish, or combine 2 drops of the blend with 10 ml of Fractionated Coconut oil in a roll-on, then apply.

Room Spray: We love room sprays because they can go where diffusers can’t, like closets, cupboards, drawers, cars and more. Make your own This Smells Amazing room spray using our quick and easy recipe below. 

Massage: The cherry on top of a truly great massage is pure essential oil. For a more relaxing massage, create a massage oil using 12 drops of This Smells Amazing and 1 oz of Unscented Massage Oil or slow-absorbing carrier oil.

Easy to make and even more fun to use, take your love of This Smells Amazing to the next level with these DIYs.

ROOM SPRAY

What You Need:

4 oz Glass Spray Bottle

80 drops This Smells Amazing

3 oz Distilled Water

1 oz 190-Proof Grain Alcohol

How To: 

In a 4 oz Glass Spray Bottle, combine 80 drops This Smells Amazing and 1 oz Grain Alcohol. Let sit for a few hours, then top off with Distilled Water. Shake to combine and spray onto linens, couches and in closets. 

BODY BUTTER

What You Need:

32 g Sesame carrier oil

16 g Shea Butter

12 g Emulsifying Wax

136 g Distilled Water

2 g This Smells Amazing 

2 g Preservative (manufacturer’s recommended amount)

How To:

In a double boiler, add Distilled Water. In a separate double boiler, add Sesame oil, Shea Butter and Emulsifying Wax. Heat both to 158° F at the same time. Once 158° F has been reached, slowly pour the oil mixture into the water. Use a stick blender and blend for 10 minutes. Once the body butter has been cooled to 104° F, whisk in This Smells Amazing and your preservative. Transfer to an airtight container.

Note: The shelf life will vary depending on the preservative and storage method.
